Prior to returning home I stopped off at a gift shop in Prague which had a Amex sticker on the window. Using my Amex card I purchased an expensive figurine for my wife and continued home to Toronto.
Two months later while checking my Amex bill I saw a charge to a hotel in Prague which matched the price I paid for the figurine.
Many questions came from my wife as to why I stayed in an expensive hotel in Prague while my son lived a few mile from Prague.
After a call to Amex we got the explanation that saved our marriage, this time.
