Subject: Music Festivals
I am particularly interested in any music festivals at/on Cape Breton Island. The local music must be everywhere, but certainly there must be some festivals.
Can you fill me in for the periods now through end of September. Are there any jam sessions? Should I bring my accordion?

Subject: Nova Scotia
My husband and I visited Nova Scotia in mid-May of last year. We are trying to visit all of the USA national parks and many of the provincial parks. This was certainly among the most beautiful. A word of caution to non-Canadians...we were caught in several snowstorms. Make sure your car is winter ready even in May. I wouldn't do it again without a car phone. Some areas are quite desolate which makes them so beautiful. We also enjoyed Halifax, Peggy's Cove, the ferries, and the incredibly friendly people. One shop owner in Halifax actually asked me, a total stranger, to watch his store while he ran down the block to complete a transaction. A great trip!
