It's in the state of Washington. Whatcom County to be exact. Right in the Northwest corner right below the Canadian Border.
What can you do there - I'll tell you - it's 720 acres of undeveloped land. One portion of it is the Hovander Park section. This is an historical (on the National Historical Resister) turn of the century farm with house and largest barn in the county. It is on the Nooksack River and has over a mile of river front property. The Tennant Lake portion has an interpretive center that shows the geological and historical facts of the area. This is all surrounded by an incredible wetlands area with lots of wildlife. There are trails galore and also a boardwalk that goes out on to the lake.
This is a real special place.
